Emotional regulation

Supporting Big Feelings with Calm, Confidence, and Compassion.

Some children feel everything deeply — joy, frustration, worry, anger — and sometimes those big feelings come out in explosive ways. Emotional dysregulation isn’t bad behaviour. It’s a sign your child’s nervous system is overwhelmed and needs support, not shame.

As a Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist, I help children understand their emotions, recognise what’s going on in their body and brain, and build healthy coping tools they can use in real life. Using a combination of CBT techniques, relaxation training, guided imagery and self-hypnosis, we gently rewire the stress response and grow their ability to pause, process, and respond.

Together, we build a toolkit of calm — so your child can feel more in control, and you can feel more connected.
